In her role with the Bilfinger Real Estate Group, one of the top three real estate service providers in Germany, the United Kingdom, and 20 other countries, Clarissa Alfrink has been responsible for the development of both national and international customer relationships as well as for safeguarding transnational engagements and the company’s continued expansion. Previously, she managed the company’s sales activities in the Netherlands, contributing significantly to increasing space under management by winning new management contracts. Bilfinger’s real estate services division was sold for $1.3 billion to private equity firm EQT in September. Alfrink’s division currently covers eight countries in Europe and is looking at mergers and acquisitions to grow the firm’s footprint in France, Spain, and the Nordic nations. “It’s an exciting time for us, with new ownership and new opportunities,” says Alfrink. “Both in my work and with ULI, we are looking to build relationships across borders and across oceans.”
Alfrink is one of the current Young Leader chairs for ULI Europe, where she helped plan ULI Europe’s Young Leaders Summer School in Paris. Prior to moving to Frankfurt, she was chairman of ULI Netherlands.
